Car went in today. They replaced the mood light unit control ECU. All mood lighting now working. They reckon update messed the ecu up which eventually died. Garage said today it was nothing to do with the updates. The problem all along is an MLL module that controls the lighting. They are faulty and mine is now dead. New one ordered but could take-up to 3 weeks to come.
Let you know in month or so if problem solved.
