Re: Previous KIA cars
I have only ever been in one, never driven or owned one. My friend was using one for a week when his car got wrecked. The insurance lent it to him while his got repaired. Thinking back, one thing that I noticed that really stood out was how it was so smooth on the road. Even when hitting bumps!

Re: Customization
I am sure there will be options. Most Korean cars have a lot of options to customize the car to your liking. Yet another reason to love Kia!

Re: Family Car
It is designed to be a family car or one that can stay with your family as it grows. I think that is a major selling point. Plus, it doesn't look like the traditional "mom car".

Re: Stability on the Road
I watched a few videos on the handling and the control and movement seems very flawless. It looks like it isn't too sensitive or to firm to drive. Like it just glides with you.

Re: Are you getting one?
I am going to say as of now, yes. I am quite set on it. I haven't found a car I have liked more. I just have to wait till I am out of school and able to be steady with everything. I have a lot saved but not enough to buy one out right.

Re: Why a Hybrid?
As mentioned in another thread, it offers people a car that is compact enough to be low on gas cost but large enough to be a family vehicle. It also isn't like a standard mini-van. They look a lot better!!

Re: Customer Service
I have only spoken with them once about a few minor questions on the phone and I happen to like them.

Re: Warranty
The 7 year warranty is likely added because they know that the parts used will last that long. I mean, it would be silly to build a car with parts that only last 5 years and give a free warranty with it.

Re: KIA in general
I have been reading up on the company the past few weeks and I must admit, I am a bit impressed by how far this company has come. I think they are a fantastic company to buy a car from.

Re: This is the new Kia Niro!
What really brought me to this car and liking the look was that it doesn't like like every other SUV out there. I don't want a car that gets confused with another car. Does that make sense?
