Rear seat vents on hybrid cars are very common. Both my hybrid Hondas (HR-V & CR-V) had vents near the C pillar on the O/S, low down at the bottom of the side of the rear seat.

I Have spoken with Kia and the definitive answer is.........
Old shape (i:e:-eNiro) remains on 10k miles or annual service.
Post 2022 NEW shape Niro EV is 20k miles or TWO years.
Hope this clears it up for anyone else in my situation.
