Do they?
I could see no reflection in the headlights of the car behind me this morning, but I was almost stationary, using one 'paddle' driving.
Perhaps if they do come on during regen it is at a higher speed?
Could someone enlighten me please.

From observation, the brake lights on my HEV only ever come on at regen level 3. I have posted about this several times, and believe that they should come on at level 2, which is a significant level of braking. I have stopped using regen in busy traffic for that reason, having seen a number of vehicles rapidly closing on me. One guy once pulled up alongside me at the traffic lights and shouted "your brake lights aren't working!" I've raised the matter with Kia UK but they say the level of braking at level 2 doesn't need brake lights.

Many thanks Alan,
I was wondering, as I had SWMBO watch me drive down the road (after posting my question) and put full reen on as it was faiely steep and she said the brake lights were coing on. Your comment would account for why I saw no reflection in the follower's headlights on gentle regen.
