Hi,

Just for interest the V2 has alloy wheels, interestingly it also has plastic covers.

I am not complaining; the alloy wheels are a dark colour (I did not take off the plastic cover), presumably to save weight, with the cover fitting on the outer face.

I prefer something like that - polished/diamond cut front faces of alloy wheel can be a 'pain' in winter with salt damage to the outer side.

The V2 version is a better idea.

Yours Peter.

Interesting prices , spoke to spares dept recently and was told the 'plastic' add on for model (2) aerodynamics were £10 each? I read somewhere else the rims were £100 each.Note that once the internet / on line wheel and tyre companies get interested in the Niro prices will drop/
