Just orderred a Nero 2 with 205/60 R16 Wheels. Could not believe it does not come with a spare wheel (its like asking if you want all the seats fitted). However now i have got over the shock, does anyone know if the spare wheel I have in my Ceed (205/60 R16) will fit as a temporary spare on my new Niro?
All and any advice would be appreciated
Many thanks
Spare Wheel
I see thewheelshop.co.uk is doing a 16" space saver wheel kit. Only thing missing seems some way of fixing it to the boot floor.

Your Ceed wheel fitting dimensions are 5 studs @ 114mm pitch circle with 50 mm offset
The Niro is 5 studs at 114 pitch circle with 40 mm offset.

If correct the Ceed wheel will not fit.

Hi Freshman. Is the existing screw which is used to fix the tyre repair container under the boot storage box not suitable?Greenman wrote:I see thewheelshop.co.uk is doing a 16" space saver wheel kit. Only thing missing seems some way of fixing it to the boot floor.
I looked at mine to examine the space and thought it looked similar to a wheel clamp?

Spare wheel option , Ceed mentioned earlier. If the only difference is the offset 50 not 40 it might be that clearance is ok certainly for limited periods. As i recall in my youth we fitted wheels to cars with spacers and different offsets to get a wider track and faster cornering. Seemed to be ok ??
