Can anyone give me a sensible reason for the following.......
Four degrees of frost this morning and the inside of my 2021 eNiro windscreen was literally RUNNING with condensation. Not any of the other windows just the windscreen.
Every car I have owned with a traction battery (Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, Honda HR-V hybrid and CR-V hybrid) has suffered similarly.
Normal ICE cars do not suffer anywhere near as badly if at all.
All I can think is that for some reason the traction batter emits enough heat even with ignition off to raise the interior temperature above that of the external ambient temp. Is this possible or am I fantasising?
ANY IDEAS???
