I know that BSD was included on the PHEV, but was it ever bundled with the e-Niro ?

Or could it be retrofitted to an e-Niro if I bought the radars and controller second hand ?

Thoughts anyone ?

I have eNIro 4+ 2021 which has blind spot and cross traffic fitted. If it is possible to retro-fit (I am not aware)
I think the cost would be prohibitive.
For a start, you would most likely need 2 new door mirrors and they are horrendously expensive.
I have had dozens of cars with out blind spot.and I always fitted these:-

They are unobtrusive and very effective.
Or look here for many options.
Personally I would NOT go for the circular ones, as I found they distort the view.

Thanks for that. Good to get a real world opinion from someone who actually has it 👍

What's the cross traffic thing ?

Cross traffic system comprises sideways looking sensors in the rear bumper that detect anything crossing behind the car, if for instance you are backing out of your drive and pedestrian, bike or car is approaching from either the left or the right. Sounds buzzer and points red arrow in the direction of the oncoming obstruction on the infotainment screen. I find it very useful.

If only we could have ordered options like these with our cars, rather than just a single spec, end of story

What age and which 'grade' is your Niro PHEV?
Kia don't seem to be too keen on on 'options', unlike VAG, BMW, Merc etc.
On those you buy a specific model and then spend a fortune on adding bits and bobs.
All the bits mentioned, plus a lot more on my eNiro were all standard on the 4+
They only did the 4+ on eNiro others go up to 4.
For example a Niro of the same age as mine but hybrid only goes up to 4 and yet has all the bits and bobs mine does (as far as I know) Certainly has leather, sun roof heated front seats (mine has heated rear as well)
