Re: A/C COMPRESSOR Fault

Hi gogo85m. Yes that seems premature failure and a long wait for repair ( part availability?)
Not sure it makes much difference but did you leave Aircon on all the time or switch it on when needed to maximise

Re: All about Connected Services - check these links.

Hi all. AA or the phone connection has occasionally been lost or on one occasion just froze. Both required the phone to be disconnected and reconnected which then resumed its destination etc.! I am unable to understand why or what causes this to happen unless a strong interfering signal occurs. Is t...

Re: Foot Parking Brake

Hi all, this my second entry under this topic. I feel that all the comments have some valid points , not least that a mechanical parking brake is far less likely to fail over time or road conditions. I have become less aversed to the foot parking brake, to the extent that I use it only rarely, on hi...

Re: User Satisfaction

Hi all. Yes to some extent your minor grumbles ring true but on balance I think the car is good value and acceptable in all areas of comparison

Re: New to kia

Hi r whinne . Not sure about your groans /creaks from rear of car when your 'weight' comes off the suspension. Does it make same noise if you just leave in Park , no foot brake on? Audio quality, most people say quality is commensarate for price. I find it comparable with similar priced vehicles too...

Re: Unable to charge and Check Hybrid System warning

Hi all. Just commenting on the charge port construction quality . From reading reviews on the Phev as well as the EV Kona and Niiro EV it's disappointing , not to say shameful that it's not far more robust considering how often it's to be used! The traditional fuel cover , as on the golf EV and othe...

Re: Hesitation when accelerating

Hi all, I must slightly disagree with greenman about the hesitation. In my case Niro2, At 12k miles the hesitation has never really improved, during warm up period anyway, up to 5 miles. Once warm It's very hard to criticise but of course the whole point of a hybrid is the engine tries to turn off a...

Re: Recall Notice

Hi guys. Don't get steamed up since a lot of cars pass the inspection and need no work done. Admin wise I think Kia needed time to check production dates and VIN nos. to see how many cars might have this potentially faulty part

Re: Adaptive cruise control

Hi Guys, Not sure what your problem is about checking brake lights ( on adaptive cruise) but the LED ones on the top of the hatch can be seen in your review mirror, in poor light and certainly at night!

Re: Wall charger recommendations wanted

Hi fernbank.
Not sure what other companies offer domestic chargers over your side of the UK, but if not too expensive I would always go for the 32 amp for future options and I expect the grant will be removed in a few years too
