Re: Fuel Economy in cold weather

Hi all. Afraid as others have said winter running mpg is low 50,s particularly if shorter runs. Only answer is to go fully electric and in autumn 2020 early 2021 we should get some better priced options as I still think the Niro and Soul EV s are expensive even with the250 mile range. We will see if...

Re: Dedicated e-Niro section ?

Hi all, yes please follow the suggestion about identifyjng your type/ model since as as time goes on it will become more complicated as further variants are launched. Just look at the VW id-3, 3 specs and different battery sizes and it's not even available in UK yet

Re: Hi - and will a Niro PHEV cope with weeks or months of non-use?

Hi all, yes lack of use is akin to most battery linked systems. There's a lot said about this in utuber groups for full EVs too. Natural drainage as well as alarms , systems monitoring and manufacturers WiFi link up causes a drain over 3to4weeks for Tesla owners at airports or secure parking unless ...

Hi simongw . Note you live north of the border, I live just south of the same border, many of us here are looking to move across post Brexit! Dealers, around Newcastle, Carlisle I have found to excellent and when a mistake does occur are quick to apologise and refund. My only only criticism could be...

Re: A soon to be Niro owner

Dealer should explain all that, or any car website/ money advice guides. Main difference is on PCP is where you only for the depreciation of the vehicle while you have it and can hand vehicle back at end of contract period , or pay lump sum to buy the car which is fixed at beginning of contract. Buy...

Re: Stop prompt for handsfree and auto connect?

Hi . Yes sounds like some of the settings on car media, phone, section are incorrect. I have Android on my 2917 hybrid and it does not ask this question, screen on media section lights up with call details and ring tone.

Re: Rear brake discs

Hi John P. Interesting picture. I have hybrid version and noticed this a while ago too. My band is a little narrower than yours. To be honest, since the brakes feel fine and the car has had 2services with pad checks with no comments I have not bothered to query it. Be interested in replies from your...

Re: Flat Battery

Hi all. Ok so the hybrid cannot charge the 12volt unless the engine is running, possibly and yes most mornings the engine runs for a couple of mins before 'switchingoff'. This time is based on me loading car o/s rather than in garage if lots to load sometimes. Not sure a few mins like this would mak...
