Re: HV 4 disappointing MPG
Hi, I have a First Edition 66 plate. I have been disappointed with the "claimed" MPG from the dash display. This usually shows 40 - - 43 MPG. So over 6 months have been keeping a tank to tank record. This gives 3928 Miles and 350.56 litres of fuel = 50.94 MPG. Quite poor really for a small...

Re: HEV very poor MPG
Sad to say, no noticeable improvement with a run in sport mode today.

HEV very poor MPG
We have a 66 plate HEV Niro First Edition, bought new. At first, we were able to get a reported MPG of close to 60 MPG. This has reduced and now the MPG is frequently less than 40 MPG. It has been back to the dealership a few times, but they claim there is nothing wrong. I have little faith in the d...

Wont start
Hi, I just tried to start the Niro and it won't recognise the key fob. Had to push the start button with the fob itself. Then got a check brakes message, so car won't start. Now I can't turn off the AV system, or lock the car. Any idea's?

Re: Hi - and will a Niro PHEV cope with weeks or months of non-use?
Hi, Only just picked up on this post from months ago. Our Niro is laid up for up to 3 months at times. Usually in winter. It is parked on our drive. I bought a solar trickle charger and clip that across the 12 volt battery before we go away. I've had no trouble with this. On our return, everything h...

Re: Battery Life??
We were away for all of January and February this year. I got a Solar charger and kept that connected to the battery in the boot . The solar panel was pretty much on the North of East side of the house on the dash. Despite this, & the snow and ice that will have accumulated on the windscreen, th...

Re: Audio system losing DAB radio
I had a problem. Eventually found it to be a plug in USB adaptor, with 2 x USB outlets. It was OK until a phone was plugged in to be charged. Then the DAB started to cut out unless there was a huge signal. Changed to USB adaptor to another type and it seems to be OK since.

Re: Phone wireless charging
My Galaxy S7 gets hot in the car and on a wireless charging pad at home. Seems to be the nature of cordless charging. Best use a USB cable and you then get the advantages of voice control, so solves 2 issues.
