Re: Confirmation on settings
The lane assist stays however you last left it using the switch near the door, so should not need to be changed every time you start the car. As far as I know, the hold assist is always on, but I’m curious why you might want to turn it off? Although admittedly, it is not 100% infallible - I have had...

Re: Niro HEV end of lease deal
I considered it and decided not to buy the Niro in the end. My logic was that although I can opt out from my company car policy and take the cash (subject to tax and NI), doing so means I have to provide a car that is less than five years old for business use when necessary. Realistically that meant...

Niro HEV end of lease deal
So... my Niro "2" HEV is coming to the end of its lease in late June. It is a 2017 car, a couple of very minor marks on the body but in good condition and has full service history, relatively recent front tyres etc. A slight change of job, then C-19, have meant that instead of the circa 80...

Re: ATMB Tag Badge
Indeed not. That was the trade-off my wife was happy to accept - very slightly impaired view of the sky, but no dealing with change / French toll staff / getting woken up by me to do so!!

Re: Air conditioning dead
BTW it went to the dealer and ended up getting re-gassed. They claimed that normally they’d put dye into the system to try and find a leak, but in this case because it’s a hybrid car they can’t do that. Sounds like 🐂💩 to me... how is having a battery under the back seat and some extra drivetrain / r...

Re: ATMB Tag Badge
We’ve used it on a few long trips in France without any problem.

Re: First EV
I already have a Niro (2017 “self-charging” hybrid) as a company car, the lease for which is coming to an end next summer. I am torn between going full EV (low Benefit in Kind costs) or taking the money. If I take the money I need to provide a car that is less than five years old for company use. Ho...

Re: Bulbs Kia Niro Hybrid
Those look like the 16” wheels so it is probably a “2”.

Re: Ex Toyota Hybrid now Kia Niro Hydrid
I did a compare and contrast posting a year or so ago after I had a Toyota C-HR as a hire car for a while. I’d be interested in your thoughts; in summary I thought the Toyota cabin was a bit over-designed, but with better feel of quality than the Kia. The Niro is more practical (boot space) and has ...

Re: Wheels and tyres
Not sure how to vote in the poll. My 2017 “2” is on 16” wheels and 205/60/16 tyres. Was on the original Michelin on the front for about 28k miles I think, then Continentals. They lasted less mileage, albeit that on the Michelins I did a few longer motorway trips (Turin and back, for example!) wherea...
