Re: Mpg
Very difficult to say as you give zero information about what type of driver you are. I'm a leisurely driver making rare motorway journeys, usually urban driving of sufficient distance to ensure the engine fully heats up, don't use Sport mode etc. My figures are a tad better than yours. Post a photo...

Re: Updating maps
I don’t know if you've tried to use the webpage for which I provided a link, but it leads on to https://update.kia.com/EU/E1/updateNoticeView/624. Look at Notifications, read the latest May22 which seems to indicate that a maps update is available for most Niros.

Re: Updating maps
Go to https://www.kia.com/uk/owners/navigatio ... re-update/ and follow the instructions. It's a complex process involving a PC and high capacity USB memory stick. I've not tried it myself yet, insofar as my car is recent and was updated when new. Good luck, let us all know how you get on.

Re: MIL & Camshaft Position Sensor
I haven't experienced it, I don’t know if its simple to fix, but it's almost certainly covered by warranty. All the dealer needs to be told is that there is a malfunction light, and then book it in for repair. If it's not covered by warranty they should tell you why not. No way should they be demand...

Re: Charging with Zappi & solar panels
Check out eco and eco+ settings. I think you have yours set on eco+, but eco may be better as it doesn't pause. Read all this on Zappi website.

Re: Paint coming off roof (only 1 year old)
Presumably you are talking about a Kia dealer (garage) and the paintwork warranty (insurance).
You need to get an independent diagnosis from a vehicle paintshop. Or, take a photo and send it to the local press to kick up a stink.

Re: Green wheel on dashboard display?
I guess you have an e-Niro. The wheel you see is either related to Lane Following Assist that is actuated when you set Smart Cruise Control OR it's the symbol on page 5-72. Good luck.

Re: Wing Mirror Reversing Adjustment
Move the mirrors switch to either left or right and leave it there. The mirrors will now tilt when reversing.

Re: Outside temperature reading
It's in the User Settings "Other features" on the small screen above the steering wheel. You will have to scroll the options using the controls on the steering wheel. Page 5-50 in the manual.

Re: Trickle charge 12 volt battery
The 12v battery is kept charged by the main HV battery if battery saver+ is enabled. So I can't see why you would want to bother, unless you rarely use the car and only charge it very infrequently. As to whether trickle charging would cause problems to the electronics, I don't know. Nor, I suspect, ...
