Re: Alloy Wheels
Is this because alloys would be lighter than steel wheels?

Re: When should the gearbox change up to 6th gear
I think the point is knowing how to use the resources at your disposal and is the process working as designed.

Re: When should the gearbox change up to 6th gear
I am a bit late into this discussion but after having had my '2' for 5 months I can confidently say that I have never felt that the car has managed to get into 6th gear whilst the gear selector is in 'D'. I have to move to 'S' and change manually to get 6th.

Alloy Wheels
Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but I have recently washed and cleaned my Niro '2' and found that it has plastic wheel covers. In thought these were supposed to be alloys as outlined in the Kia publications. Should I complain or is there a story to be told. I would appreciate any feedba...

Re: Fuel consumption
One thought struck me today on the topic of fuel consumption. That is, what is the 'range' based on. My range figure does not change even when my consumption changes from 62 mpg to 75 mpg. Anyone have a technical answer?. As I said previously, I have not worked my way through the manual yet. When th...

Re: Fuel consumption
I am more than happy with getting around 65 to 70 mpg after 2000 miles. At least it is in thevrealms of being near the manufacturer's claimed mileage. I have Citroen dispels before and they were nowhere near the quoted figures.
