Is anyone using their phone with an android app to monitor that their 'dog at home alone' is not causing mayhem and tearing the house apart. There are plenty of apps in the app store for pet monitoring. They can alert you if your dog starts barking. allows you see what they are doing and speak to th...

Re: All about Connected Services - check these links.

Had my Niro 4 about 18 months now. Use connected services all the time, it's a brilliant system. Don't like talking to the car with AA, have found it can make mistakes ! Re speed camera's - I get a few beeps a couple of hundred or so yards before the camera with it's position highlighted on the scre...

Re: Lead time/waiting time

Speed camera's. I regularly pass a of speed camera which used to be without getting a warning. Know nothing about smartphones and leave it permanently in the car, using it for nothing else. Somehow (not sure how) enabled speed camera warnings on the phone and now get a warning jingle and a symbol on...

Re: All about Connected Services - check these links.

I hope the 'tomtom.com' links I provided will be reassuring. Connected Services (using the built in 'tomtom') seem to be totally reliable - have found Android Auto not to be 100%. There are two destinations I use, where AA falls down. The first, AA tells me to turn left instead of right to reach the...

Re: Sat Nav route options

Have a Niro 4 and have just changed my route to shortest.
With the hope that I might stop being sent down narrow country roads / farm tracks - as has happened when set to fastest.

On another subject, does anyone know how to stop or cancel route guidance once a destination is set.

Re: sourcing a full-size spare wheel

I have a Niro 4 with a full size spare wheel kit which includes a jack and all the spanners you would need.
Fits beautifully under the tray at the rear - highly recommended.
Guess there must be a 16 inch kit available.
