Re: Charge points
I use Pod-Point App on my phone that shows any charge points on a map. Most of my charging is at home and work provide some points. The Pod-Point App shows the location of any local points and once you're registered (at no cost) it also shows if the charge point is being used, or not. Once connected...

Re: Foot Parking Brake
The foot parking brake may seem odd when you first see and drive the car, but it doesn't take long to get used to it and I find it now quite normal to use - put in on when you park and press again to release when you drive off.

Re: Charging PHEV
I have no card for pod-point nor are there any costs. I just go on the app and it shows if the charge points are being used, then just go to an unoccupied point, plug in the cable and go to that particular point on your phone app to confirm the electric charging. It may sound complicated, but its ve...

Re: Charging PHEV
My suggestion is load Pod-Point app on your phone and then register yourself. The App list pod point charging locations on a map, the site detail's and all the ones I have used have been free - often even free parking too, Just be aware that it might appear to just plug-in, but unless you confirm yo...

Re: Charge point
I have a ChargedEV point at my home and they are doing it for £149 with the rest paid by the government grant. I've had no problems with my charge point and think it was good value for money - they did a special deal last April for £99 that I used.

Re: Fuel Consumption (PHEV)
My PHEV now has around 2500 miles since new in just over two months. It does over 30 miles on electric before switching over to HEV mode, so I charge up at home and then at work, so its mainly without the engine being used unless I go on a long journey of around 160 mile now and again. The car shows...

General Observations of my PHEV so far
I have now had my Niro PHEV for just under a month and clocked up around 1200 miles, so these are my general observations. The car is very good and I'm pleased that it eventually arrived. It starts on EV (electric vehicle) mode and with a full charge I am consistently getting around 30 miles range, ...

Re: Belgium to UK trip in a Niro PHEV
I too have a PHEV and I'm very pleased with it. My suggestion is to load the POD Point app on your phone and it shows the charging points in the IK, with the ones I have been to are free. There is no registering, just load the app, and it shows the location, any tariff and if the charge point is bei...

Re: Lead time/waiting time
My Niro PHEV was delivered today and I'm very pleased with it, but just need to work out what everything does it! Its been at the dealership compound since 27th July so its been a long wait, mainly for the new September registration I assume.

Re: Lead time/waiting time
My lease car PHEV arrived at the dealership on 27th July and I thought it would be a week or so for it to be registered and have its PDI, particularly as I understood it had to be registered and delivered before the first of September to comply with the world wide testing for cars. I had assumed it ...
