Re: Radio issues with new Niro 4

This is the price of progress, thirty years ago I had radio that worked all day long without dropping out, now it seems like it cuts out if I drive past a tree, admittedly the quality is better now when it is working. Mine even curs out when I am stationary. If someone can tell me what I am doing wr...

Re: New here, so Hi all

The first dealer would not do it when they did my service, so I had to go to a second one to gat update. I am upset about this, as apparently abroad this is part of the service, when I was told it was not.

Re: New here, so Hi all

I agree about WAZE, used that before I got update, however WAZE did let me down in GLASGOW , missed airport car park by 1/2 mile, but yes I do find it very good otherwise

How far did you have to twist their arm to get a free update? a little way or full force. I tried and failed the first one would not do...

Re: MPG

Does the HEV have a history page, where it shows the MPG for all journeys for months past or is that only for PHEV.

Re: MPG

MPG just like most cars, at least my 2018 phev is, there is quite a lot of owner selection.

The main figure on the PHEV is how many miles remaining, but I suppose the is not relevant on HEV

Re: PHEV - over-revving and using petrol whist in Electric mode

Press the "off" button below the demister button, for some reason there is something "on " even though there are no indicator lights on, pressing this button on my car immediatly stops the engine running

Re: Engine running in EV mode

That is a valid point, petrol does go off, in a car how long would it take to make a significant difference?

The longest I have gone without using petrol would be about 12 weeks, I did not think about degradation , but the fact that I was transporting a significant weight about needlessly
