Tyres affect mpg?

I bought a new-model Niro 4 hybrid in September with 18in wheels. It replaced an old-model Niro 3 with 16in wheels. With my old model I was getting mpg in the low/mid 60s, often 70-plus. With my new Niro I’m averaging mpg in the low 50s – or less – driving the same roads in the same way in the same ...

Trickle charging a Niro hybrid?

My Niro hybrid - not PHEV - will be in the garage for the next three months. Anybody figured out a way of trickle-charging the 12-volt battery?

Re: sourcing a full-size spare wheel

Hi everybody, A quick update on my 16" spare wheel hunt if it's of interest to anybody. My Kia dealer quoted me £213.50 for a full-size spare and tools. Instead went for a space-saver spare from The Wheel Shop for £140 plus tools. Fits fine in place of the lower boot tray, so still room for the...

Re: BULB UPGRADE A SAFE THING TO DO?

Hi AlanW55,
I'm confident the Niro headlights are capable of being adjusted so nobody's dazzled - thinking more about whether or not they'll damage the system/electrics/whatever.

BULB UPGRADE A SAFE THING TO DO?

Apologies if covering old ground, but reading through posts about bulb upgrades I couldn't find any opinions from guys who know better than me if this is a harmless thing to do - and won't invalidate the guarantee? I'm thinking of upgrading the poor yellow headlight bulbs my Niro came with to Osram ...

Fits beautifully under the tray at the rear - highly recommended.
Guess there must be a 16 inch kit available.
Thanks for that...but I'm looking to pay less than Kia are asking!

sourcing a full-size spare wheel

Hi everybody, As a newcomer, apologies if this has been asked a million times... Waiting for delivery of my Niro with 16in wheels, and browsing breakers sites for a full-size spare, specifying Niro. Anybody know if there's a suitable 16in wheel from other bigger-selling Kia models which might be mor...
