Re: Carrying a bike on a 2019 Niro 4 Self-Charging Hybrid

Thank you Stepshort. I didn't know that. Are you saying that every car produced today has a horizontal brake light.....? Follow up to this: Not every car on the road has additional horizontal brake lights of course and while, if they are fitted, there would probably be a legal requirement that they ...

Carrying a bike on a 2019 Niro 4 Self-Charging Hybrid

I have a heavy e-bike which I want transporting in or on my Kia Niro 4 Hybrid. Now, the car is not cleared for towing, so can't fit a towball. The bike is too heavy for the roof. It's also a bit large to go inside the car without first removing more 'bits' than I care to. Hang it on the back with a ...

Strap on Bike Rack

Has anyone fitted a bike rack to the back of the Niro Hybrid. Not the 'grab a towball' type but the strap on racks that simply hang from the back. I have the Niro 4 with the 'spoiler' (if that's what it is) at the top of the rear window and also the glass goes right to the edges at the left and righ...

Being towed

Lots of posts about the capability of Kia Niro Hybrids to tow but what about 'being towed' in this car? If I was to suffer a breakdown, can I be towed without problems? I have the hook ring for the front of the car of course.

Re: Economy??

Forgive me if this is a naive question but how would I know whether my Niro 4 is set to US gallons or Imperial?

Wing Mirrors

Kia Niro 4...my wing mirrors, nicely set up, dip when I select reverse. I guess someone thought this would be a smart idea but I find it annoying as the lovely clear view I had is instantly changed to a view of the ground! Perhaps if I simply wanted to monitor the kerb during a reverse turn around a...

Economy??

After one week of owning the Kia Niro 4, I check the mpg and am horrified :o to find that I have averaged just 37mpg. Now I confess that, at the moment, there is much I don't understand about this car - the combined manuals contain more text than any standard degree course - but is there something I...

Re: New to forum

I bought a 'nearly new' (28 miles on the clock) so it was on the forecourt. Saw it Monday, owned it Wednesday.
