They are launching the new
Soul on 9th July ‐ same price as the current NIRO. So I expect we will see a price hike on the new Niro which will take it potentially into the road tax bracket

You are absolutely right. The e niro is brilliant but Kia have shot themselves in the foot. Who want to wait 12-18 months for a new car? You will love it. Got mine on 15th and loving it. A nice feature is the regen. braking which I always set at level 3. Hardly use the footbrake at all but beware! When you are at 100% charge there is no regen braking and thus it doesn't slow you down at all. Maybe all evs are like this but it certain...
