Re: New Owner

Were you not offered a test drive? I have no problem with the ride in my car on its 18" low profiles. As for power, it's a hybrid, designed for economy principally. That said, it certainly shifts if you select sports mode, and, to me, is perfectly acceptable in fully automatic mode. I'm sure you'll ...

Re: Dedicated e-Niro section ?

There's no doubt that postings are becoming more wide ranging as the Niro range expands. It would help enormously if EVERYONE added a clear signature that identifies their vehicle, so that advice given is appropriate.

Re: Silly question maybe ??

You would have to drive the car in such a way that the management system wouldn't try to start the engine. If you kept your foot off the accelerator, and just let it trundle along on battery power in first gear, you might be able to achieve the two miles you cite. I'm only surmising! If anything tri...

Re: Hello

The battery charge meter seems to peak at about 60%. After two years+ ownership, I average between 40% to 75%. Highest ever was 90% on a long downhill run, needing occasional braking which boosts the charging higher. Lowest was around 20% in long duration stop/start traffic. The charging algorithm ...

Try cancelling the original wifi in the car, then set up a new connection. Trust the iPhone is transmitting a WiFi signal?

Re: steering wheel controls

Mine are lit up, but I don't know whether it's because I have a higher spec model. Is your instrument lights dimmer switch turned down?

Re: Hello

My front 18" Michelins got down to 3mm at 23,000 miles, then I changed them. I'm fastidious about the pressures being correct, and would describe my driving style as 'leisurely'.

Re: Sat Nav

Assuming you have the JBL radio unit, there is a tiny reset button just to the right of the on/off volume knob. You need a biro or something similar to press it.

Re: Hello

I'm getting similar figures to djbobbins on 18" wheels. Does the "2" have the eco 16" wheels? If so, the guess about real world economy is probably correct.
