Re: Getting my Niro 2 next week - what to look for?

Welcome. A not so old set of posts under this thread: https://www.niroforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=514 might give you some ideas about what we like and dislike. Personally: Likes - seating position, visibility, infotainment, ease of driving. fuel economy, Dislikes - Halogen headlamps, lack o...

Re: Best and Worst Thing About Your Niro

What, you mean that multiplying by 8/5 is too difficult? ;) (double it 4 times and divide by 10 - it becomes easier with practice). Alternatively, you could always use Waze via Android Auto, and have it display the speed in km/hr on the Satnav display. Not ideal, but a workaround of sorts. Seriously...

Re: Minor downsides of the Niro's specification

When I taught my 3 to drive, there were a couple of occasions when I had to emergency stop the car on the handbrake. Not so much at the outset; more when they started to get (over) confident, and once when my daughter tried to stop and stamped on the accelerator by mistake! I don't think its safe to...

Re: Michelin Cross Climate - fuel economy impact?

Understeer is easier to control than oversteer so best grip at rear reduces the chance of the car spinning. So, I gather. When I started driving, perceived wisdom was to put the best rubber on the front. I don't know when the advice changed to putting it on the rear, but personally, I don't necessa...

Re: Bulb upgrade

Let us know how you get on....The reviews of those bulbs on Amazon suggest that they don't last very long - several suggesting a life of around 3 months. Perhaps the people buying them don't realise that you mustn't handle them without gloves, or perhaps the ones on Amazon are counterfeit, as severa...

Re: New Owner

The announcement was ahead of the Geneva show. So, I suspect the comparison was with the equipment previously fitted to the euro models. I wonder how many of them will make it to the UK market? After all, UVO connectivity has featured in the USA since launch there.

Re: KIA UK E-mailed me a Niro brochure !

So, the brand new brochure is already out of date!
I'd like to know when the facelifted models will become available - not for some considerable time I'd guess.
