Re: Any one else having problems tethering since updating to IOS 13
If you're parked next to your house, does the car connect to the house WiFi? I would expect it to, it confirms the car's system is ok. Can a friend connect his/her phone to the WiFi signal from your iPhone?

Try cancelling the original wifi in the car, then set up a new connection. Trust the iPhone is transmitting a WiFi signal?

Re: steering wheel controls
Mine are lit up, but I don't know whether it's because I have a higher spec model. Is your instrument lights dimmer switch turned down?

Re: Hello
My front 18" Michelins got down to 3mm at 23,000 miles, then I changed them. I'm fastidious about the pressures being correct, and would describe my driving style as 'leisurely'.

Re: Sat Nav
Assuming you have the JBL radio unit, there is a tiny reset button just to the right of the on/off volume knob. You need a biro or something similar to press it.

I'm getting similar figures to djbobbins on 18" wheels. Does the "2" have the eco 16" wheels? If so, the guess about real world economy is probably correct.

Re: Rear brake discs
Just looked at mine, bright and shiny all the way across the width of the disc. I'm interpreting what you say to mean there is a 10mm wide ring of rust next to the outer edge? I can only think that you have the wrong size pads fitted, but this seems unbelievable. Back to dealer, let us know how you ...

What's under the bonnet?
The HEV and the PHEV have an engine gearbox and all associated parts. The EV only has an electric motor and simple one-speed gearbox, so is there lots of spare room under the bonnet?

Re: Do the driver and passenger seats soften ul in Kia Niro?
After two years and 24,000 miles , I can't say I've noticed any undue softening of the seats. Mind you, after driving Fords previously with their hard seats, I thought the Kia was fine from day one. The big advantage of the leather seats is the power ventilation which prevents sticky back and bum in...

Re: Climate Control Air Filter
Thanks Dave, Well ok, but the same could be said about the engine air filter replacement which should be replaced at the 3rd service. I was highlighting the fact that the manual says it should be replaced, but the Kia checklist says inspect. Mine was pretty blackened, so I've changed it. That said t...
