Re: Anybody spotted a PHEV in the UK?
Well spotted UpNorth! Unfortunately if you PCP or HP it a new one is cheaper than this offer. The advantage of course is it is available immediately. (I've been in this position before - a new car in 3 months time was cheaper than a used one of the same model now. Fortunately I have until May 2018, ...

I haven't been to Oxford yet and seen it: "NOW AVAILABLE AT BRAYLEY KIA Hello Fred Sustainability has a stylish new look. The new Kia Niro Plug-in Hybrid has just arrived at Brayleys and we wanted to let you know first. Because you registered your interest in the new Niro PHEV, we're inviting y...

Re: Dipping my toe.
Hello David Welcome. As you know the only stupid question is the one you need to ask but don't ask. (I'm not saying I wouldn't give a sensible question a stupid answer!) My wife and I are retired and really don't need two cars. We have one electric and one petrol. We are considering a Niro HEV and a...

Re: Smart Cruise Control Problem
Can't help wondering if all the remains of the fox have been washed off. Presume they checked the radar transmitter/receiver in the grill is still working. Substitution is usually the only easy way to test, so it would be interesting to know the availability and cost of a replacement unit.

Re: Anybody spotted a PHEV in the UK?
Official release date for the UK today, Monday September 4th, so I was a bit premature with my question. Game on.

Re: Anybody spotted a PHEV in the UK?
Hi deguy As far as I know the only external differences are the charge point flap on the front left wing and may be some subtle trim colour and the badge, so I would imagine spotting them on the move would be difficult unless you were on the flap side and it wasn't moving too quickly. I was thinking...

Anybody spotted a PHEV in the UK?
Being keen to try a Niro Plug-in I've been trying to confirm its arrival date. September 1st was claimed to be the release date for prices and placing orders according to one dealer. So far I've not found any such announcement, but maybe I've missed it? Who's going to be first to spot a "dual f...

Re: Temporary Spare wheel and tyre
Not being a fan of "whipped cream puncture repair packs" (brilliant description) which are as much use as chocolate tea pots for many punctures, I too prefer a spare, even if it is a skinny. I've been told that even if the puncture is sealed the tyre is a write off because it takes a long ...

Re: Niro 2 PHEV?
I've carried out an analysis of the respective mileages of our electric and petrol cars and the electric mileage is more than twice that of petrol. And most of the electric mileage is short journeys where a petrol engine would not get warm. (Diesel even worse.) The use of a car for short trips is du...

These owner reviews are worth more than most of the journalist written ones. More please folks!
