Re: HV 4 disappointing MPG
My overall consumption and driving style is in line with Meadowknight's. Raefil's is probably right for three summer months. Your 51mpg might be a bit low, particula4ly over summer months, you don't mention a driving style. My recent mpg in colder weather is around 45mpg.

Re: New owner, new member
My HEV also has the variable regeneration paddles, and I find it's only possible to emulate smooth one-pedal driving on level 1. Levels 2 and 3 are too strong and sudden in operation, maybe the EV is set up differently? The brake lights only come on at level 3, so I don't think it's safe to use the ...

Re: ipod connectivity Niro 2 self charge
I think our friend is asking about connecting an ipod, not an iphone/ipad, via the AUX socket.

Re: ipod connectivity Niro 2 self charge
My 2017 car had an AUX port next to the centre USB, my 2021 car doesn't. No mention of it in manuals, unless someone knows otherwise.

Re: Niro self charging hybrid wouldn’t start
Not clear whether my suggestion has solved your problem. Not surprised that Kia couldn't solve your problem, it's a recurring theme in these forum.

Re: Niro self charging hybrid wouldn’t start
Have you tried changing the battery in your key? The immobiliser light should switch off when the key is detected, it won't if the battery is nearly flat. The key in my hybrid lasted around 3 years.

Re: New Niro PHEV won't charge on Wallpod
The Niro spec says the charger for a PHEV is type 2 3.3kW. Is your wallpod compatible, it seems to come in many configurations.

Re: Kia self charge hybrid - 100% battery charge
My HEVs have usually fluctuated between 30-70%. Lower charge after a lot of stop-start, higher charge after coasting down long downhills. I've never reached 100% charge, the management system probably won't allow it. As Winter comes in, your engine will probably run all the time on your short journe...
