My new "New Niro" has arrived !

It took just two months to arrive from ordering in early July to delivery on the 6th Sept. but my new 'upgraded New Niro4 HEV" arrived with me a week ago ! First impressions ? Bloody marvellous ! But maybe I'm biased as I had the First Edition (4) HEV from three years ago so this is my second. ...

Re: PHEV or HEV?

Hey fatgit - if you don't have charging facilities at home, except to drag a charging lead across a public footpath which is illegal, isn't it a no-brainer that you should buy the self-charging HEV version and relax ? I have had one for three years now, about to receive a new one a week today, and I...

Re: Hello all!

If you want to remove the full-screen sat nav window from your display don't just press MAP again. That does nothing. Instead touch the Home button at the top left hand corner of the screen. That will reduce the map window to half the screen and show other information on the right hand half. This is...

Re: Hello to all .... Should I be worried about buying?

Check it's previous registered owner history. It is possible that this may be an ex-lease car which has simply been returned after a lease with low miles. Remember that the car will still have the balance of the 7 year manufacturers warranty remaining which will transfer to you upon purchase. This w...

Re: Niro in winter conditions - advice please

I have been driving a KIA Nito HEV level 4 (First Edition) for the last three years and am so delighted with it that I am now awaiting my second one to arrive later this month. The KIA salesman who was trying to sell you on a Sportage was just working for his commission. The Niro with front wheel dr...

Re: new order for E-niro Advice / basic questions

I would very much doubt that any KIA dealer in the UK would be interested (or even allowed) to 'do a deal; for you on an E-Niro as they are in such short supply and so oversold - why would they discount something that they can't even get enough of ? Much more likely, if you shopped around in the nex...

I didn't know a 4 existed in 2016, I thought it was 1, 2, 3, First Edition?

Ah yes, silly me, of course it was a First Edition in 2016 !

Can’t wait!
When did you order your car ? I understood that the orders started 1st July. So you must have pre-ordered ?

Re: UK Spec 2020 Niro

So does that mean that my NIRO PHEV that I got 30 Oct 2018 after a 6 month wait was a 2019 model, how do I tell? The 2020 model was first unveiled at the Geneva motor show in February 2019. So if you took delivery of your car in October 2018 it cannot be the hew model. The 2020 model was first open...
