Well , after a near 7 month wait (a week short) my Niro is due to be delivered tomorrow.
Absolutely crazy that some people who ordered 5 or 6 weeks later than me already have them , but hey ho. Its been great reading everyones first impressions

The car cant be designed to cope with that though , its a basic internal combustion engine , which would mean cold oil and sudden rapidly moving internals.

Eventually got the news i had been waiting for , for 6.5 month. The car i ordered on 24th April , has arrived at the dealer so phoned them today , getting delivered next tuesday.

Something i was thinking about today about the PHEV , Say for instance you jump in your car and your on a motorway at 60/70 mph in EV mode and have been for 25/30 miles and your range goes down to 0 miles and the car needs to switch over to HEV mode. I think some people may have managed to get the cars that some dealers would have ordered a few month back as general showroom stock , where as if you ordered an actual car , it would be considered a new build , and with all those emissions testing hold ups its been a few month longer than it should...

I ordered 24th April mate so dont get your hopes up , but i do believe a guy that ordered about the same time as you , got his 22nd of this month.

When did you order yours mate ?? And is it lease/salary sacrifice or personal ??
The last ship arrived on the 9th/10th october , so thats them only getting round to getting through them.
