Uh tell me about it... I'd gladly pay someone to hack this stupidity.

Re: Fuel consumption
Agreed, love the silence and also the AC that runs on EV!
I would go mad inching in the 4 hour queue this weekend (blazing sun and 30+ degrees) if it wasn't for this car.

Re: Foot Parking Brake
When I'm in stop/start traffic or at traffic lights I only use "P". There's no point in doing this - other than it being a fidget toy  This is a good watch for people new to dual clutch transmission vehicles: 5 Things You Should Never Do In A Dual Clutch Transmission Vehicle (I'm ass...

Re: Foot Parking Brake
Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS)... Its just a gimmick in my opinion I beg to differ! ;) It made my 1000Km (8hour +) rides enjoyable instead of having a stiff neck for a week afterwards. The gold thing about active LKAS (you have to turn it on in settings) is it reduces fatigue in your arms and shoul...

Gearshift base is leather or not?
Anyone know if the gearshift base is made out of leather or not?
Seems quite dried up and brittle - if it's leather I was thinking about applying some leather care product on it...

Re: What Colour Niro?
Wanted to get the black one, but got the snow white pearl for one practical reason really - lithium batteries last longer if kept cool.
Ended up being a pretty color that's kind of silvery white - love it so far.

Re: Apple CarPlay
Sorry for being behind the times! But what does 'Apple Car Play' do exactly?? I am due to get it (for free) whenever I make the appointment with the garage. thanks You can use the handsfree button on the steering wheel to give Siri commands (i.e. answer calls, play music, type out messages) and if ...

Re: Hybrid Battery Charge Level
Not sure about a panic mode, but have noticed the gear ratios can lead to what seems like sticking in a higher ratio when you would have expected a change down. Perhaps as the battery provides less power you need more from the petrol engine? I'd also guess that the battery needs breaking in ie quit...

Re: Hybrid Battery Charge Level
I noticed that the car goes to 'panic' mode whenever it drops below 50%.
Driving on a long uphill stretch on a highway the car would use the hybrid mode (electric + normal) and the moment it went to 49% battery it would switch to charging the battery... going uphill... seems quite inefficient.
