E-Niro - do you buy or lease ?

I just picked up on this link which popped up on my desktop this morning. Electric car leasing ! So I clicked on it and scrolled through the list of so many electric cars that they offer for leasing. https://www.drive-electric.co.uk/vehicle/ But then I got down to the e-Niro being offered to 'busine...

Re: Newbie--John Way

Well good luck with the new one. they are quite dear these days but worth the extra I have looked at all the self-charging hybrids on the market (I didn't want a plug in or totally electric car) and I really found that KIA gave excellent value for money in the end considering hi-spec, comfort, econ...

Re: Newbie--John Way

OK John, I have that - never quite thought of it that way. Yes, I use it a lot and using that doesn't take the eco/normal/aggressive driving needle into the aggressive section as it would if I simply put my toe down in automatic. Very useful for getting off and around cars and lorries for overtaking...

Re: Newbie--John Way

Hi John, I have had a self-charging Niro HEV for almost three years now. I had one of the first available in 2016. But I am not aware of a 'sport switch' to flick anywhere on my car. New enhanced Niro HEV announced for UK.

The news that I had been waiting for came in from my local KIAS dealer yesterday based on information just sent to his firm by KIA UK. The enhanced Niro HEV i.e. self charging model) as launched at the Geneva motor show will be available in the UK later this year (he guesses Q3) in a wider range of ...

Re: E-Niro test drive

I test drove the eNiro at S.G. Petch here in York a week ago. Although I had no intentions of buying one I thought it would be churlish to turn down their kind invitation. I have had a self-charging Niro for almost three years now and am absolutely delighted with it. I am due for a renewal of lease ...
