Re: First experiences with Niro (good, bad & ideas)
Great report actually and glad you are satisfied. LX, is it the US version? The software stuff is what leaves me a little bit confused, about the car. The good news is that a pretty good number of things can be theoretically improved with new versions of the software. The bad news is that I don't se...

Re: OEM Tyres
I own a Niro FE with the Michelin Sport Pilot 4 too and, based on my experience Spring-to-date, they have been great in all the conditions. I would definitely keep them

Parking Assist - Behaviour of the Front sensors
Hi, I'm still confused about the expected system behaviour of the front sensors. Does the following seem correct? The front sensors are active and reporting obstacles under the following circumstances: a) if you push the button Parking Assist. E.g. you are approaching the car park space, in D, and y...

Re: Sat nav
Aren't those the traces of the car on the map? There is a setting in the nav, turn trace on/off.

Re: Tyres Pressure, 18”
Hi Sulman,
Thanks, 36 PSI.
Clearly the tag I got is wrong, even the tag code is different and the sizes of the tyres don't match the Niro's

Re: Tyres Pressure, 18”
Hi,
I know, that should be the case but... It's not, unfortunately!
It lists 15, 16, 17 tyres plus a T 15 type. Nothing about 18.
I suppose it's due to an error in the assembly line?

Tyres Pressure, 18”
Hello,
Maybe I'm missing something but... I can't see any ref to the 18” wheels in the tag with the recommended inflation pressure.
Please does anyone know what are the normal/max load, front/rear parameters for the 18” tyres?
Thanks!

Niro is already 5th Kia best selling car
From Frankfurt IAA2017, Kia rep:
Niro is already the 5th Kia best selling car ever. No figures reported but I suppose he was referring to the absolute number of units sold worldwide.
Kia eco cars sales in 2017 = 7*2016.

Re: Winter is coming! Snow chains
Hello Deguy, thanks, very clear. Actually in Italy it goes beyond - or below :) - North: similar policies in other regions. E.g. several areas around Rome have the policy "winter tyres or chains" for highways and motorways. Ok, very useful, thank you all! Time to look at some prices and op...
