Re: Battery level meter

Still waiting to get mine booked in for the recall. What are your software and firmware levels now?

Re: Rear door

From the lifting up I can only assume you mean the boot lid? If so, no, I have not noticed any issues.

Re: PHEV recall items - outcomes

My TPMS tripped yesterday. My theory is that the last update to the car fixed or implemented alerting, as it never alerted me before if one tyre was a couple of tenths of a bar down on the others, I only found out by cycling through the screens. Yesterday it turned suddenly cold here (4 Deg overnigh...

Re: Recall Notice

I don't think the admin would be big for finding out the cars affected, that's just a database query based on the parts known from the US recall. I think it's more likely they decided on phases (fair enough) - US, then Europe, and no doubt APAC separately. None of which changes the fact that if they...

Re: Recall Notice

Got mine today too. Bit annoyed, as Kia already knew about it when I had my last service (US press reports early May, which I was unaware of at the time), and I will need to take another day off to get it done.

Re: FYI - Clutch actuator recall

Thanks for that. I've not received anything yet. My 1st service was round about the the American callback became known, so not sure if anything was done then.

Re: Map updates 2018

I have the same maps as Splang too, updated in May. I have totally different software and firmware though, as I have MY17 (which isn't in the software or firmware name).

Re: Lead time/waiting time

I read an article in a weekend paper that manufacturers have a backlog with getting cars certified through new emissions tests and that is causing a knock-on effect on deliveries. But ironic for a PHEV if its the case.

Re: Lead time/waiting time

It takes around six weeks just to get cars from Korea to Europe by sea.
