Re: 6 weeks in....so what's it like?

Have had mine 5 weeks now and 1300 miles. Love it and last 2 weeks not used any petrol, showing 999 mpg! Plug in at work and in eve each day. Use heated seat and steering wheel. Downsides - hill start assist dodgy - rolls back sometimes and brakes bit odd on lifting foot off pedal - seems to stay on...

Re: Brake release.

Keep left foot on brake pedal and have right foot ready on accelerator so no delay moving from one to the other if hill start does not function!!

Re: Coasting guide

Yes. You need to have the sat nav programmed. It works well but requires a traffic free road otherwise following traffic can get impatient!!!!

Petrol disappearing

Odd thing I have noticed. This week have not used engine at all - heater off,but the petrol range has dropped by 2 miles. On way in to work this morning 1 mile disappeared and engine was not running!!

Re: Brake release.

Not tried that - will do - but sometimes it is when the car has not stopped ie coming up to red lights which change just as you about stop.

Re: Brake release.

Still not used to brakes not releasing especially when gently nearly stopping and then accelerating.

Re: Battery Range

Will see how it goes - done 1200 miles now. No one seems to know if it is better to keep battery fully charged or go to say 80% sometimes.
Would have thought the manufacturers would give guidance by now.

Re: Brake release.

The postings have been most helpful - I thought it was either me or my particular car. It is those moments when the car seems to be thinking!!
Mind you the handbook does say about it improving itself over the first 1000 miles !!
