I can only speak for the HEV, my car heats the interior using the engine.

It's widely reported in the motoring press, search E10 v E5 on Google. The government says the difference in mpg is around 1%, so we can take that with a pinch of salt. My overall consumption and driving style is in line with Meadowknight's. Raefil's is probably right for three summer months. Your 51mpg might be a bit low, particula4ly over summer months, you don't mention a driving style. My recent mpg in colder weather is around 45mpg.

My HEV also has the variable regeneration paddles, and I find it's only possible to emulate smooth one-pedal driving on level 1.
