Do you have the Aux Battery Saver option within the instrument panel settings ticked?

There is some talk of this changing especially with optional equipment as insurers are finding optional radars & upgraded lights for instance increase repair costs for small knocks so may consider loading premiums for cars with options. It is a bit of a merry go round.

Strangely in the PHEV you only have Sport mode in EV mode. In hybrid mode when you flip the stick across you only have manual mode.

The PHEV has no electric heater to my knowledge it fires up the engine to warm the car

I got my car last Wednesday, 10 days after order. I will do a review next week after I have got some miles under my belt.

Only one car (a Seat Mii) out of the 20 or so I have had with heated mirrors has had a separate switch & as it had no warning light and it was twisting the mirror switch to a different position I think the combined switch is much easier.

My PHEV has this and also a humming noise when traveling forwards at low speed. As our other car is an electric Renault Zoe we are used to the pedestrian warning noise. Stupidily the Zoe makes no noise when reversing which considering there may be people in a blind spot is odd. Personally I am glad ...
