Re: Economy??

We got ours (Niro 4) new in September, average driving style, got around 63 to the gallon. Now in winter this has gone down to 50. But it is noticeable that the same journey on a cold or warm day will give very different mpg. Also starting from cold the displayed figure will drop steadily for the fi...

Re spare wheels, I had a bad experience in France a couple of years ago where a tyre was ripped. No way a can of squirt would have worked, but the Merc had a spacesaver spare which enabled us to complete that day's travel, and then spend the next day finding a new, high speed tyre. Most of the time it doesn't show because you have preempted it and already taken your foot off, eg approaching a roundabout or jun...

Re: sourcing a full-size spare wheel

Hopp, out of interest, how long did yours take to arrive ? We bought a Niro 4, ordered spare wheel kit. Car arrived 1st September, but no spare wheel yet. 'On its way from South Korea' apparently.

Re: Adaptive cruise control

Only had our Niro 4 for 13 days, but had a couple of long trips and impressed by the adaptive cruise control. Only one niggle, if car being tracked brakes and turns off, to the right seems worse, the Niro slows right up and even stops even though the car turning may be in a slip lane. Agreed it is a...

Re: Foot Parking Brake

I prefer to say the Mercedes footbrake, rather than Massey Ferguson, since all the Mercs I've had have the same arrangement, and it works ok for them.
