I didn't know a 4 existed in 2016, I thought it was 1, 2, 3, First Edition?

Re: UK Spec 2020 Niro

So you've bought a 2020 car in mid-2019 that would have been manufactured in Korea in early 2019. It's as confusing as magazine issues that are always a month in advance!

Re: Rough running Niro

Have Kia acknowledged there is a problem? I had a Ford technician drive mine so they couldn't claim there was nothing wrong! I'm not sure if yours is an intermittent problem (the ones that at never show up at the dealers!) but mine was constant. Good luck, keep us posted!

Re: Rough running Niro

If Kia with all their sophisticated diagnostic equipment can't solve your problem then it's highly unlikely any of us amateurs will be able to help. I once had a new Ford Orion 1.6i that always run rough until the revs were higher. Ford were unable to solve for over 9 months. They finally agreed to ...

Re: Tyre wear.

I've not had problems with my Niro, ( just changed front two evenly worn 18" Michelin's). But, I have had problems in the past when both outer edges wore quicker than the inside. I found out that the gauge on the footpump I was using significantly over-reported the pressure - they should have b...

Climate Control Air Filter

I've just had the second 20,000 mile service on my HEV. According to the handbook maintenance schedule on page 8/19, the climate control air filter (behind the glovebox, page 8/46, commonly known as the pollen filter) should have been replaced. It wasn't. When I looked at the KMUK service checklist ...

Re: whats the best mpg achieved over 100 mile plus drive

So if it's not a HEV then it's a PHEV. So much of that journey did you do on EV only, what speeds etc. etc. I drive a HEV, and I've never got above 65mpg even driving as frugally as possible.

Re: Minor irritation with Niro

Is yours a Niro 1 without roof rails? Mine has them and I don't get the torrents you refer to. My controls are backlit in red, sure you haven't got the dimmer switch turned down too much? Agree about the "handbrake", wish it was electric like the new EV.

Apparently Lane Follow Assist is/will be available on the e-Niro. Haven't a clue what it actually is.......
