Re: New member
hi niroal. Niro 2 with ADAP would be enough bells and whistles for me. My niro2 no ADAP is plenty techi without extras. Of course its all about how much you want to spend and the trade in value later! On the subject of white trim inserts, not my cup of tea but also the glossy alternatives show every...

Re: Headlight beam adjustment Niro 2
Hi guys not sure about Niro 2 lights but plenty of discussion about this topic on kiaownersclub.co.uk under the sportage 2010 to 2015 section.
Is all about how flat the cut off is as to whether you need to buy stick on adjustments

Re: Flat Battery
Hi all, Greenman makes a good point about what charges the 12 v battery. Assuming the 12 volt is only charged when the engine is running this explains partly why the engine nearly always starts on first trip of the day. At that point the 12volt battery may say hi need charging even though the EV pow...

Re: Creaks and groans
Hi. At slow speed most of the slowing up is done by the regeneration system surely, not the discs? My niro 2 does not make the noises you are describing. The DCS system is designed to work in these conditions and while stationery or slow in traffic the electric motor is providing the forward power t...

Re: Foot Parking Brake
Hi all. Yes you all have valid and well considered views. One final point, how do you know you are all fit and competent to drive? How many cases recently of football and rugby athletes have suffered life threatening or fatal incidents in training or on the field. Most recent case was Cheick Tiote a...

Re: No jack and wheel wrench - is this normal ?
Hi Ritz. Yes I have trolley jack too, however unlike previous cars I have had the areas on the Niro where I would normally use my trolley jack look small and fragile. Any suggestions wheel you would place your trolley jack faceplate? Am nervous on a new car of doing damage to an unreinforced locatio...

Re: Foot Parking Brake
Hi Suman. You have a point about what happens if the rear wheels lock. I also consider that if the driver has a medical emergency or the car rolls away after the driver has got out for some reason I would like to act from passenger seat. All I can do in this car is try to ram the gear lever in park ...

Re: Kia Niro Size
Hi ALL. Yes the space inside car is v good considering its overall size. Part of the reason is the rear seat location being fixed over the lithium ion battery gives extra space for rear seat passengers BUT at expense of luggage space, which is poor against others in this class of car. Of course its ...
