Re: Lead time/waiting time

Mine is showing as "In Transit To The Dealer" and was told it would be at the dealer on the 6th November , i asked why it takes over 2 weeks to travel from Immingham to my dealer ! Was told that `In transit to dealer` actually means its sitting on the dock awaiting a transporter to ship it...

Re: PHEV Charging

Be aware someone on here , or the other Kia UK forum , had a cable melt on them so i wouldnt leave it unattended , especially at night. I got a Rolec tethered 7.2kw charger fitted recently , all i had to pay basically was £50 (this was for the tethered one, if i had got the standard one that plugs i...

Re: Lead time/waiting time

Well mine isn't on a boat, delivery time to dealer just put back to 19 December. Going to ring up and consider my options... Including, could I wait for an e-Niro? I had numerous slips on my delivery date. Ordered 24th April , was told a 12-16 week wait time . Then the first estimate date given was...

Re: Lead time/waiting time

They all go to Immingham. That was what i was thinking , but having read an article ......... "“I’d anticipate that we’ll see our 100,000 UK car sales target achieved by 2020.” Paragon also holds a distribution contract with Volvo near to the new Kia facility and will process around 150,000 ca...

Re: Lead time/waiting time

I have been told mine will arrive into the country on the 5th (Ordered 24th April), the only boat that matches that into the UK is the Morning Lynn but its due in to Bristol.

Can anyone confirm Kia still ship to Bristol ? And not only Immingham ??

Re: Lead time/waiting time

My negotiation will be stick to the price I signed up to or you can keep the car :D Joking aside, I do wonder if it will give Kia a kick up the backside to get the cars PDI'd and registered that are due into the country end of this month / early November. Mine is due at the dealer on 14 Nov, that p...

Re: When to use HEV setting rather than EV ?

Hello, I have had my "Kia Niro 4" for two weeks now and have to say I am a bit disappointed, I find the petrol motor very noisy compared to the demonstrator I tried twice, and it seems to be running most of the time. On start up in the garage from cold it always uses the petrol engine, an...

Re: When to use HEV setting rather than EV ?

Thanks for the interesting opinions on when to use the EV and Hybrid in the Niro. 1. Can anybody tell me if there are two batteries in the Niro PHEV one for the Electric vehicle and one for the Hybrid 'part' of the car>? No only the one 8.9kw battery . It will discharge and say its empty , and swit...

Re: Lead time/waiting time

Yeah i believe they do. Eukor done all the shipping a few years back but Glovis got more involved. But as mentioned theres probably a big backlog so maybe hired in extra help. "Although Eukor has transported all Kia and Hyundai cars from South Korea since 2002, this year Glovis will export 25% ...
