Re: Saving Tours in satnav
I've been looking for that option myself, it doesn't seem to be possible.

Re: Intelligent speed limit warning system
If you want to be warned if you go over the speed limit, I suggest you use the speed limiter which actually does what it "says on the tin". Mind you, if you're going downhill, it doesn't stop you exceeding the set speed, but just bongs away merrily until you apply the brakes, or the left p...

Intelligent speed limit warning system
Not at all sure why this system is called "intelligent". All it seems to do is display the speed limit as the car passes a speed limit sign. It doesn't change the speed limiter or the cruise control setting. Insofar as it is interlinked with the sat nav, neither does it forewarn of an upco...

Re: Reset service interval notice
Are you sure it's not there, you have to scroll down as there are more options than can fit on one page. The mileage and time interval can both be adjusted if the option is on. To maintain the warranty the service should take place annually or 10,000 miles whichever comes first. If you only want to ...

Re: Tyre Repair Kit Expiry Date - ??
There is an expiry date label on the sealant bottle, mine is 09 2021 like yours. Whether or not you believe the sealant deteriorates is a personal choice. I'm going to get a space saver wheel.

Re: Finally figured out front sensors
Yes, I've replicated what you did by slowly moving the gear lever from P to D. The front sensors came on, presumably because the lever was in the R position long enough. I've never noticed this before because I move the lever more quickly through R and it doesn't switch the sensors on. I agree the f...

Re: Finally figured out front sensors
In my 4+ years of Niro ownership, I have only ever observed the front sensors to switch on automatically when I select reverse gear. Then both rear and front sensors are on, useful in a parallel parking scenario. I'm not sure therefore about your statement "every time I have pulled out of the g...

Re: PHEV driving modes
Lewis, back to your original question, EV forces electric only, HEV forces mainly engine assisted occasionally by electric, AUTO lets the car select whichever mode is appropriate for the driving conditions based on the mysterious KIA algorithm!

Re: PHEV driving modes
What size wheels on your PHEV?. I can get 61-63mpg on 18" wheels in my HEV on a 70mph motorway run, but believe the 16" wheels with narrower tyres give around an extra 10-15% better mpg. Selecting Sport in my HEV at 70mph on a level road or downhill usually shows 6th gear, but when climbin...

Re: Update Niro V Qashqai
I'm taking delivery of a HEV 4 in September so will be able to comment then how I find obstructed view of the 7" display through the steering wheel, I'm like you regarding hand positions. (Our second HEV, we love the car) The engine keeps running for the first couple of miles to get up to tempe...
