Re: Bought one :-)

Was this something your dealer put together for you, or is it definitely Kia items? I was charged £380, and obviously have not got anything yet.

Re: Bought one :-)

Called the dealer Tuesday about the full-size spare wheel. They have no information yet. So far my question to Kia UK has not been answered.

Re: Bought one :-)

In N the engine does not charge the battery, but does charge in P. Wrestling with braking a bit still. The two engine front end takes a bit of stopping, especially downhill.

Re: Bought one :-)

Well this week managed to start reversing whilst the engine was not on/running [was on a slope] - wondered why steering was not working! Also frequently forgetting the foot operated 'hand-brake'. I'm sure others will do much better.

Re: Bought one :-)

The full-size spare-wheel is not available until October. They gave me about 2/3 a tank of fuel - generous. Ride is more comfortable than the Sportage, and engine noise more noticeable when accelerating. Start-up with no engine noise is a bit different! Handbook will require considerable attention. ...

Re: Bought one :-)

Just off to collect the Niro 2, having just read in the paper that What Car mileage tests found it does not do 74.3mpg but 50.1mpg. Still better than the 28.5 I am getting from the Sportage in local journeys.

Re: Bought one :-)

I'd be interested to hear what your insurance company requires as proof of the AEB installation as it is a non-standard feature for the 2?
