Re: Hi
The main thing you will likely notice with the Niro is it appears to have no power initially but that's just due to the way the throttle is mapped in default eco mode. You get used to it and it encourages smooth driving. In Sport mode, the Niro has a surprisingly quick step off from the line.

Re: BLUETOOTH VOICE CONTROL / ANDROID AUTO
Regular voice control is disabled once you enable either Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Why I don't know, but that's just the way they've set it...
This limitation is mentioned in the user manual somewhere.

Re: Lane Keep Assist
I only use it on the motorways, and I'm glad it's available and easily switchable. It, along with the adaptive cruise control and android auto, swung my choice to buy the Niro instead of a Toyota Prius Excel.

Re: Spare wheel

Re: Spare wheel
Yesterday I reversed over a blade in a supermarket car park and the tyre was damaged beyond repair. I'm so glad I had bought the full size spare wheel now. Getting a replacement tyre today.

Re: Google Maps navigation volume?
You're not seeing this option when the phone is running in Android Auto because it's a deliberately simplified interface, to promote safer driving. To see the volume settings you refer to, you need to unplug your phone from the car, run Google Maps directly on it, then: 1. Press the 3 lines button i...

Re: Lane Keep Assist
I've had it work with green lane markings in the past. I think it may be partly due to the colour, but also the width of the lane has an effect - if it's too narrow or too wide, the LKAS will not work.

Re: Niro PHEV compared to Hyundai Ioniq plug-in?
Whilst I know that this is a Niro forum, since you're concerned about boot space, have you considered the Kia Optima Estate PHEV? They can be had nearly new (67 plate) for less than £25,000.
