Re: New member
I will be leasing a Niro if we get one so the extra for an FE is around £35 a month so no issues with trade in. I am a sucker for bigger wheels (my current Kuga has 18" upgrades) so I am in quandary there. I agree the heated seats will kill EV range, but hopefully the rear seats reduce to zero ...

Re: Headlight beam adjustment Niro 2
Legally if they are not adjustable left to right then beam blockers or deflectors need to be fitted. Just lowering the beam is not suitable.
Eurolites show a fitting for them on their latest sheet.

Re: Do you want to tow with the Kia Niro?
Okay, so now I am really confused. My 2017 Niro 2, UK specification, was delivered last week. I was having a read through the manual earlier this evening and it clearly states that for the European specification, you can tow with your vehicle and sets a limit of 600kg unbraked or 1000kg braked. Suf...

Re: New First Edition
I didn't want to risk finding out so I braked myself. So far in normal driving, I've had the forward collision warning bleep at me but I've always done the braking myself. Sounds the safest way!!! Is the warning sound a bit premature or is it pretty reliable? The videos on the NCAP test are quite i...

Re: New member
The control for the wireless charger is on the menu accessed via the steering wheel when the car is in park. When it's active, it just detects a phone with wireless charge capability placed on it, and ignores it otherwise. There's no button to worry about catching when placing a phone or other obje...

Re: New member
I'm an iPhone user so the wireless charging will not be usable, I will just have to make sure the button is not caught when putting things there. Our 2nd car is a full EV Renault Zoe so I am used to the initial electric shove to surprise other road users!!! Not sure I could stick to 55mph on motorwa...

Re: Waiting game
So if I order an FE in the next couple of weeks is it likely I will get it this year??? I think the longest wait seems to be for Niro 2 with ADAP, as they are made to order and take around 5 months. I don't think there is too much of an issue with the FE's. The dealer said there are no unsold ones ...
