I have been using adaptive cruise control for some 80k miles in my previous car and never had an issue, so based on that I am pretty sure the brake light does come on, but never actually seen it for myself either. Done about 1200 miles in my new First Edition and most of it on 'smart' cruise control...

Hi Suman, The adaptive cruise control does indeed stop the car! It's quite good fun slowing without touching anything. .. the cruise control needs to be reactivated afterwards. In actual fact, it doesn't stop, it disengages when the speed drops below 5mph and you will have intervene yourself otherw...
