Re: PHEV Charging
Don’t be ashamed. I had a hunch but searched all the manuals and found no mention of the red flashing light.

Re: PHEV Scheduled Charging
Solved Given the opportunity to sit in a warm Niro while my wife shopped, rather than in the dead of night as I plugged the PHEV into its charger, I have found that if selecting “activate off peak time settings” then please remember to set some sensible on and off times rather than leave the default...

Re: PHEV Scheduled Charging
No, I meant that on the AVN PHEV charging settings I have set it to “charge on schedule” having set the schedule and for good luck selecting off peak tariffs and setting the off peak hours too.

PHEV Scheduled Charging
Maybe I’m doing something wrong but my Niro 3 PHEV is unwilling to charge in off-peak hours. I have set the timer ON using the AVN screen. The LCD screen confirms it is on when I take out the key. I plug the charger in and the green light in the dashboard flashes as it is supposed to do. BUT when I ...

Re: PHEV charging cable
Hi I own a Niro PHEV and a charging point outside the house. It’s a Rolex charger which charges at 3.6 kWh which I think is the limit set by the car. Maybe 7.2 kWh cooks the batteries. Re: Home Charger
I had a fast charger fitted at KIA expense when I bought the Niro PHEV. (Perrys-Burnley)
Works a treat. Beats a 13A socket under a bucket.

Re: Connected services with BT Wifi and no smartphone
Connected services works with BTWifi-with-FON as personal hotspot and picks put more hotspots as you drive. I think you would need to stop outside the spot to collect the traffic and camera info. I can’t use outside my house as router is to far away but it picks up neighbours FON signal.

Re: USB/media/phone
I have an iPhone 6S plus and purchased from Amazon a coil which fits between the phone and case to convert the phone to wireless charging. But the 6S plus model is a tight fit in the space above the wireless charging area so the coil was off centre and didn’t work. Amazon took it back. Would work on...
