I use the smart cruise control regularly and till recently it worked well. I hit a fox which ran out in front of me one evening and since then my car does not slow down when the car in front slows. I have taken it back to my local KIA garage and they have reset the software. Still have a problem I get a dash alarm for "Emergency Braking" to working and "Radar Blocked". Any ideas as to what I need to do to fix this?

Can't help wondering if all the remains of the fox have been washed off. Presume they checked the radar transmitter/receiver in the grill is still working. Substitution is usually the only easy way to test, so it would be interesting to know the availability and cost of a replacement unit.
