Hi,
I recently bought a Niro 3, and am very pleased with it so far.
Does anyone know why the battery charge never goes above 50% on the gauge. Nor does it drop much below 50%.

Are you saying the battery meter never moves ? if that is the case , then its a trip to Kia garage .... It will never go below 50% to prolong battery life , but it should go to 99% , not very often but it will , i've had my battery go to the max a few times ... And you will find the battery will charge faster in sport mode.

Hi all. Never seen charge go above 75 % in general driving or below 25% on hybrid , but have read on other forums that it can go very high towards 99 % on long downhill sections of mountains passes and a hot smel! noticed. This high level surprises me since it would appear that the regeneration braking charging system may override any battery protection system!! Surely there should be an off switch in the regeneration braking recharge system for just this prodicament
