Niroal I was looking at these today on Amazon. Just concerned that some people saying that they’re not lasting very long. They were £20.95 for 2. Were yours 9005 - HBC?

Just to add, with Halfords upgrade bulbs I have found lifespan to be very short, not had that issue with Osram & Niro bulbs are really easy to change!!!!

No problems. The other thing I have done is very slightly up the headlight aim as from factory mine was slightly low

I'm curious as how these bulbs manage to be low beam and high beam in one bulb, given that they're a single element bulb?

The car runs a shutter similar to how xenon lights work

Is it easy to change the bulbs, please. The originals are pretty poor, aren't they, and the Nightbreaker Lasers look as though they would definitely be an improvement.

Hi janedsg

Yes it surprised me how easy it is. At the back of the headlamp unit is a flat black plastic "lid", which should be turned anti-clockwise (as viewed from looking towards the front of the car) about quarter a turn. The lid should just pull away. Watch the rubber seal doesn't fall off the lid. Then you'll see the connector, connected to the bulb. Just gently pry the connector catch away from the bulb connector and gently push down. Then hold the bulb connector with 3 fingers and twist around a sixth of a turn (think it's anti-clockwise again) and the bulb will become loose. Pull gently out of the housing and don't touch the glass of the bulb. Reverse sequence to install new bulbs. Remember the position of the bulb; the connector points down.
