Got a call today after 10 months on order to state that my Gravity Blue car should be with the dealer 10th March subject to change, going to the dealer on Thursday to finalize things so when I collect everything should be smooth sailing.

Great news indeed. The Don Pasquale docks in Immingham on Thursday and it certainly looks like there's a reasonable shipment on board

Trying to get the lazy dealer to apply a ceramic coating that KIA UK approves but they don't seem to want to order it as have been in touch with the ceramic coating rep, dealer wants to apply Diamondbrite which I have in the past and it's crap, am pushing to get this done but no luck so far :(

Agree with you diamond brute is cr.. .
Best is wrap coating, comes in 3, 5 and even 7 layers, pricy but if applied properly protects against everything including minor door dings. Problem is finding a qualified installer
Good luck

Contact KiaUK via Twitter for their support. They seem very responsive to people's questions.

@championc unfortunately wasn't to be as the Ceramic coating hadn't arrived when they ordered it on Friday when car arrived, arrived today and the rep from the ceramic company is coming down tomorrow to show the valeter's how to apply it correctly as long as the paintwork is up to scratch for it, hopefully Friday pick up meeting at 2pm :) , did say I could have picked it up Tuesday and have the ceramic coating applied once in but I decided have it ready to go with all done

Good luck. Check paintwork VERY CAREFULLY, mine had what looked like pieces of ‘grit’ embedded in the paintwork on both ‘A’ pillars. Had hell and all trouble getting them to sort it before PPF film & ceramic coating, but eventually got it sorted. Really pleased how it’s going now (June ‘19 with coating Aug ‘19).🤔😁
