Just orderred my Niro 2 in Pearl White. Got to wait till mid March for delivery, dont know if I can contain myself for that long.
Coming from a 1.6 diesel Ceed and hoping I will get at least as good mpg on long trips, will have to see.
Just found this forum which looks excellent so thought I would sign up

Hi,
This is just thoughts - you have ordered a new Niro, so the seller and yourself have an common interest whilst you are waiting.
The spare that you talk about is the right size and diameter, BUT the aspect may be different - the depth of the sidewall in particular as the Niro has special Michelin tyres as part of its build - that are said to assist in the airflow around the vehicle. The Niro 2 model has smaller wheels than the 3 or FE, and that affects the mpg (and VED) for instance.
Could I suggest that the 'spare' is taken to the Kia garage you deal with for them to advise you is it will do, they will have been on courses for the Niro and should be able to help.
Yours Peter.
