Hi Niroal,

Thank you for your advice.

Looks like I am heading towards a PHEV, rather than a HEV.

Does the Niro have decent mid range power which is suitable for overtaking, or is it a case of changing my driving style to suit the car?

I am still struggling with posting a new topic. It only allows me to see existing topics and threads.

In HEV mode or Sport mode in EV (uses both motor & engine), there is plenty of midrange shove. In Eco mode in EV if you put your foot down hard enough the petrol engine will kick in as well. The electric motor is only 60hp or so so it does need some assistance.
