new niro owner
Hi. Two days ago I picked up my Niro PHEV. Traded in Toyota CHR hybrid. Very pleased so far with the PHEV. Prefer it to the CHR. Doing mainly journeys that are round trips of about 30 miles. The trip computer shows doing 350 mpg. Tried Sports mode- impressive!
The tech is a lot easier to use compared with the Toyota. Really happy with the Infotainment- and that Apple Car Play is available. The only things I miss from the CHR are the Blind Spot Monitoring and the Rear cross traffic alert. Was tempted by the eNiro- my dealer said there was a lead time of 16 weeks.
Financially it is a no-brainer. Interest free car loan from the Scottish Energy Savings Trust- who also gave a £300 grant (on top of the UK govt £500) for a home charger....so charger cost me £54.
